• Conference Ambassador Programme Development 

Tony Rogers Conference & Event Services has developed considerable knowledge and expertise in the development of Conference Ambassador Programmes, working in close partnership with another consultant, Sue Beverley of CHS Group

We are able to work with destinations to develop world-class Conference Ambassador Programmes, whether you need a toolkit and step-by-step approach to launch a new programme or a tailored package of support to enhance your existing programme.

Projects to date have included developing Ambassador Programmes for England's Northwest, on behalf of Carlisle & Cumbria, Chester & Cheshire, Lancashire & Blackpool, Liverpool, and Manchester. Work has also been done with York and Scarborough Conferences to develop a new Conference Ambassador Programme for the twin destinations, and also Hull and East Yorkshire Conferences.

• Industry / Education Interface and Liaison

Contributing to the development of a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) infrastructure for the business events sector

Contributing to the creation of national skills strategies

Working with Leeds Beckett University (as a Visiting Fellow) to develop further a range of industry initiatives in the Yorkshire region and beyond

Speaking and lecturing to university and college groups

Revalidation of university conference and event management programmes

• Research

Overseeing local, regional and national research projects, including project management of the annual 'UK Conference and Meeting Survey'.

Tony and Richard Smith of RJS Associates have been contracted by the Events Industry Alliance to project-manage a major 3-year study into the UK exhibitions and events sector, entitled 'SASiE' (Size and Scale Index for Events).

Contributing to the Research Group of the Business Visits & Events Partnership to identify research priorities and implement new research activity.

Contributing to Leeds Beckett University’s work for Meeting Professionals International (MPI), with projects on Corporate Social Responsibility, The Future of Meetings, UK Economic Impact Study, and a study for Abu Dhabi
